MJ is our prize from the West Coast.
She is a wooden ship built in 1975 after the Tancook Whaler design popular in Nova Scotia at the turn of the 20th century.
She was purchased by MAST in 2021 from an owner that took great care of her and was happy to see her turn into a commercial vessel.
Conversion from a recreational vessel to commercial vessel has just begun...but the hope is to run her out of St Joseph Michigan.
She will offer several sailing excursions a day, as well as be available for private parties, and special group programing.
Eddy was recently donated by a South Haven boat loving family! Eddy is perfect for our community sailing classes and will work hard as a teacher!
Eddy is a beautiful blue hulled, 23ft Bayfield.
We look forward to seeing how fast Eddy will go.
He is currently laid up for winter, getting ready for his debut season.
He is a little embarrassed of his winter cover so the picture above is his stunt double!
